FAQ: User ID and Password

eightytwenty.com

Students who enroll in the Web Skills Certification Course will be assigned a user ID and password on the first day of class, which will allow access to course notes at eightytwenty.com. Students who miss the first day of class will receive their user id and password on the first day they attend class.

By accepting the user ID and password, the student accepts full responsibility for the security of user ID and password. The student represents that he/she agrees to all conditions and terms in this multiple-page FAQ.

Currently, the user ID and password do not expire. The student will continue to have access to the on-line course notes until they forget their user ID and password. No new user IDS and passwords will be assigned after the original set. To maintain security, the instructors do not keep plain-text, human readable copies of this information.

  • Students must agree not to share their password with any other people, including spouse, other family members, friends, employers or colleagues. Passwords should be kept private and secure. Passwords should not be electronically stored on computers where family members, co-workers, or other office staff will have access to the passwords.
  • A student shall not use a user ID and password that is not theirs.
  • If a student discovers that someone has made unauthorized use of their user ID and password, they should immediately report the event to their instructors via e-mail. The instructors will immediately change the password, to prevent further unauthorized use.
  • If an assigned user ID and password combination does not work, students should email their instructors with a message carefully explaining their problem.
  • User IDs and passwords are case-sensitive.
